Symptoms of Athlete’s Foot

There is actually no symptoms for an Athlete’s foot and one does not even know that they have contracted this infection. Athlete’s foot, in actual fact, is a very common skin infection that is caused by fungus. One of these fungus are the Trichophyton which thrives and infects the upper layers of your skin.

Athlete’s foot is also caused by the ringworm fungus that is usually found of the floors in gyms, locker rooms, swimming pools, nail salons, airport security lines and in socks and lining. These fungus can be contracted through either contact or spread directly from person to person.

While there is no symptoms for Athlete’s foot for most individuals, some can have symptoms such as frequent peeling of skin, cracking, pain and bleeding in severe cases and some degree of itching and burning.
