Foods to Avoid for Eczema

There are certain foods that are advisable to avoid for eczema prone skin. This is because sometimes certain food would trigger the flare up of your skin. For example, a good type of food to avoid for eczema problem would be food that are night shades such as tomatoes, peppers, paprika, eggplant, tobacco, goji berries and white potatoes. Night shade food all contain toxins which would overload our immune system

Apart from that, people with eczema should also avoid refined sugar because it is highly inflammatory. You will need to avoid foods that contain white or cane sugar or high fructose corn syrup. Opt for coconut syrup, brown rice syrup, agave or honey. Even artificial sweeteners such as sorbitol, xylitol, aspartame, saccharine, sucralose that are available in diet and chewing gums should be avoid.

Then the other foods to avoid for eczema are such as shellfish, alcohol, smoking, smoked foods, yeast, fried foods and peanuts should also be caution.
